The artist's struggle

As a visual artist it can be frustrating to put so much time and energy into your work, and when it's time to connect to your audience, there really isn't is one. We've all been there. Sometimes it can feel like you're spinning wheels because you're posting to your social media or to your online store, but no one is purchasing your work or merchandise...

We're in a business that finds success through relationships and subjectivity. In other words, there's no right or wrong answer to art because the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. BUT, there are strategies and ways for you to reach your ideal audience that will value what you have to offer. The quality of your work is never the issues. You just haven't been able to create a branded voice for yourself to market to your ideal audience.

I'm jordan,

better known as jlaw.

I started this journey in 2016. We've now fast forwarded 4 years later and I've been able to quit my full time job in 2019 to be freelance Visual Artist. In addition, I surpassed a year's salary from my previous position as a graphic designer for the Federal government.

where do you need help?

A lot of times we just need a guidance to get us over that 'hump' that's preventing us from making consistent sales or hitting that revenue mark in our art business that we deem as sustainable or successful.

You may have heard of ESPN's 30 for 30, but here I present to you 45 for 45. It's exactly what it sounds like. A 45 minute session of strategic planning for your art business for $45. This is the first time ever I have offered my own time to specifically help artists achieve their goal of sustaining their business through art.

Often, we need a sit down and a different perspective on the struggles we have as running a business as artist. Naturally, the business side of things aren't our strong points, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't reap the fruits of our labor and collect this BAG from our artistic talents.

During the 45 for 45 Session, be ready to:

- Dive into your pain points of your business needs and hurdles

- Gain knowledge and insight on ways to improve client retention for your business

- Utilize specific solutions given to you to further streamline your art business and improve revenue
